Responsibilities
Financial Control
- Manage financial administration, including general ledger, accounts payable, inventory and accounts receivable.
- Preparation of monthly reports and financial statements.
- Ensuring correct and timely financial reporting to management.
- Monitoring and optimising cash flow and liquidity.
- Liaise with external parties such as auditors and shareholders.
Business Control
- Analysing financial and operational data to provide insight into business performance.
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts and financial planning.
- Identify risks and opportunities and turn them into strategic recommendations for management.
- Advise and support management on financial and operational issues.
- Perform cost analyses and monitor margins.
Managing and supervising
- Managing and coaching two finance staff, ensuring effective and efficient execution of daily work.
- Stimulate the employee's professional development through feedback and coaching.
- Conduct HR-related discussions with the various colleagues and ensure proper processing of payroll.
Features
Desired Profile
- Education: Completed HBO or WO education in Business Economics, Accountancy or a similar direction.
- Experience: At least 5 years of relevant work experience as a Financial Controller, where experience with Business Control is a strong plus.
- You are independent, flexible, and can cope well with the dynamics of a small organisation.
- Leadership experience is a plus
